When connecting your Google account, you'll see a warning saying this app isn't verified. This is expected and temporary — Live Marketing Data MCP is currently going through Google's official OAuth verification process.
To proceed: click "Advanced" → "Go to Live Marketing Data MCP (unsafe)"
A few things worth knowing

Prerequisites & Quick Start
What you need
Python 3.10 or higher, one of the supported AI tools (Claude Desktop, Cursor, Windsurf, etc.), and your Meta Ads / Google Analytics 4 / Search Console accounts.
Quick start
Download and run install.bat — the installer wizard handles everything else: credential prompts, account discovery, config file generation.

Meta Ads API Setup
Create a Meta developer app
Go to developers.facebook.com → My Apps → Create App. Choose "Business" type. Add the "Marketing API" product to your app.
Generate your access token
Open Graph API Explorer. Select your app from the dropdown. Click "Generate Access Token" and grant the required permissions: ads_read, ads_management, read_insights.
Auto-discovery wizard
When install.bat prompts for your Meta token, paste it in. The wizard automatically discovers all ad accounts linked to that token and presents them as a numbered list.

Google Cloud Console Setup
Create a project
Go to console.cloud.google.com → New Project. Name it "PromptFlow MCP" or similar.
Enable APIs
In the APIs & Services library, enable: Google Analytics Data API v1 and Google Search Console API.
Create a service account
Go to IAM & Admin → Service Accounts → Create. Name it "mcp-reader". Download the JSON key file — keep this safe.

GA4 Connection
Grant service account access
In GA4 Admin → Account Access Management → Add Users. Paste the service account email (ends in @...iam.gserviceaccount.com). Set role: Viewer.
Property ID wizard
Run install.bat (or re-run it) and choose "Add GA4 accounts." Paste your service account JSON key path when prompted — the wizard auto-fetches all accessible property IDs.

Search Console Connection (Pro)
Grant Search Console access
In Google Search Console → Settings → Users and permissions → Add user. Paste the same service account email. Set permission: Full.
Auto-discovery
The same service account JSON key used for GA4 also grants Search Console access. The wizard detects both APIs from one key — no extra credentials.

Multi-Platform Install
How it works
install.bat generates an mcp_config.json that works with all 6 supported AI tools. It also outputs the exact config block to paste into each tool's settings.

Managing Accounts
Add or remove accounts
Re-run install.bat at any time. Choose "Manage accounts" to add new client accounts or remove existing ones. No need to reconfigure your AI tools.
Validation status
When the wizard completes, it shows each account's connection status: ✓ connected (green), ⚠ token needs refresh (amber), ✕ permission issue (red).

Troubleshooting
Your access token may only have personal account scope. Regenerate via Graph API Explorer with your Business Manager selected (not "My apps"). You need ads_read + ads_management permissions.
The service account email needs Viewer access on each GA4 property. Go to GA4 Admin → Account Access Management → add the service account email with Viewer role.
Data in the Search Console API is delayed by 2–3 days compared to what you see in the web dashboard. Try start_date="7daysAgo" instead of "yesterday".
The MCP server is not registered. Check that the server path in your claude_desktop_config.json matches exactly where you extracted the MCP files. Restart Claude Desktop after any config change.
Standard user tokens expire in ~60 days. To generate a long-lived token (60-day auto-refresh), follow the Long-Lived Token flow in the Meta Developer docs and use that token in install.bat.
Ensure the MCP server is running in the AI tool (check the server is connected in settings). The activate_license tool requires a live server connection. Try reconnecting the MCP server first.
Search Console is a Pro-only feature. Activate your license key with: activate license YOUR-KEY. Trial includes Meta Ads + GA4 only.
Right-click install.bat and choose "Run as administrator". Some Windows security policies block unsigned scripts. If the issue persists, run: Set-ExecutionPolicy RemoteSigned in PowerShell as admin.
